NAC is happy to announce an open call for artists to submit their artworks for an upcoming exhibition celebrating the cultural heritage of Hamro Ramro Uptyeka, Our Beautiful Valley, at NAC. This event aims to showcase the diverse artistic expressions inspired by the rich history, nature and culture of the valley.
As Kathmandu Valley is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, ancient temples, monasteries and vibrant artistic traditions, encompassing seven UNESCO World Heritage Monument zones. We invite artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to participate in this exhibition, where we will explore the intersection of art, culture, nature and heritage.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Eligibility: This call is open to both emerging and established Nepali artists, locally and internationally.
2. Theme: The artwork should be inspired by the cultural heritage of Our Beautiful Valley, Nepal. Artists are encouraged to explore various aspects such as architecture and landscape, traditions and festivals or any other element that represents the essence of the valley.
3. Medium: Painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media.
4. Submission Process: Please email to nac.exhibitions@gmail.com
- High-resolution images of your artwork (JPEG format, maximum of 2 artworks per artist)
- Artist statement and biography (up to 100 words each)
- Contact information (name, email, phone number, and website, if applicable)
- Title, medium, framed dimensions in cm, artist price and year of creation for each artwork. *
5. Deadline: The submission deadline is 10th July, Monday 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.
6. Selection Process: A panel from NAC will review the submissions and select the artworks based on creativity and relevance to the theme.
7. Notification: Selected artists will be notified via email.
8. Exhibition Dates: The exhibition will be held in July 2023, at the newly renovated Bagmati Gallery at NAC.
9. Logistics: Selected artists will be responsible for the delivery and collection of their artwork to and from the exhibition venue. Detailed instructions will be provided to the selected artists.

हाम्रो राम्रो उपत्यका प्रदर्शनी सम्बन्धि समस्त कलाकारहरुलाई सूचना
नेपाल कला परिषद द्धारा जनमानसमा हाम्रो उपत्यकाका जिवन्त सम्पदाहरुको ईतिहास, प्राकृतिक संरचना, सास्कृतिक धरोहर महत्वलाई उजागर गर्ने उद्देश्यले “हाम्रो राम्रो उपत्यका” विषयक प्रदर्शनी निकट भविष्यमा आयोजना गर्ने व्यहोरा सहभागी हुन ईच्छुक कलाकारहरुलाई अवगत गराउन चाहन्छु । यस कार्यक्रममा कलाकारले श्रृजना गरेका कलाकृतिहरुले उपत्यकाका जिवन्त सम्पदाहरुको ईतिहास, प्राकृतिक संरचना, सांस्कृतिक महत्व झल्किने विभिन्न माध्यमवाट श्रृजित कलाकृतिहरु प्रदर्शनी गर्ने जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छौं ।
यहाँहरुलाई सर्वविदीतै छ हाम्रो काठमाडौ उपत्यकामा रहेका सुन्दर भौगोलिक अवस्था, पौराणिक मठमन्दिरहरु, सदिऔं पूराना चैत्य तथा विहारहरु एवं जीवन्त मौलिक कलाहरुले सुसज्जित युनेस्कोले निर्धारित गरेका विश्व सम्पदा क्षेत्रहरु रहेकोले यी विशेषताहरुलाई आधार लिएर सबै माध्यमवाट तयार हुने कलाकृतिहरु प्रस्तुत गर्न ईच्छुक कलाकारहरुलाई सहभागी हुनका लागि हार्दिक आग्रह गर्न चाहन्छौं ।
दर्ता गर्ने प्रक्रियाहरुः
१) योग्यताः नबोदित कलाकारहरु, राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तरराष्ट्रिय स्तरका नेपाली कलाकारहरुले सहभागीता गर्न खुल्ला छ ।
२) विषयः माथि उल्लेखित विषय “हाम्रो राम्रो उपत्यका” संग सरोकार भएका मौलिक धर्म, सस्कृति, स्वच्छ प्राकृतिक वातावरण र सम्पदाहरुलाई झल्काउने उत्कृष्ट कलाकृतिहरुको सहभागीता रहनेछ ।
३) माध्यमः चित्रकला, मुर्तिकला, रेखाचित्र, अन्य विविध माध्यमहरु आदि
४) दर्ता गर्ने प्रक्रियाहरुः
- ४.१) ईमेल मार्फत हाई रिसोलुशन भएका कलाकृतिहरुका प्रतिलिपिहरु (JPEG format) अधिकतम दूई वटा कलाकृतिहरु कलाकारले पठाउन सकिनेछ ।

- ४.३) नाम, ठेगाना, ईमेल, फोन र वेवसाईत सम्भव भएमा
- ४.४) कलाकृतिको शिर्षक, माध्यम, से.मि.मा नापी, मुल्य र निर्मित साल प्रष्ट रुपमा उल्लेख गर्ने ।
कलाकृतिकाे फाेटाे बुझाउने फाराम डाउनलाेड गर्नुस् ।
५) दर्ता गर्ने अन्तिम मितिः सम्वत २०८० साल आषाद २५ गते तदनुसार 10th July, 2023, Monday को अन्तिम मिति पश्चात कलाकृतिहरुको दर्ता बन्द गरिनेछ ।
६) छनौट प्रक्रियाः दर्ता भएका कलाकृतिहरुको छनौट नेपाली कला परिषदबाट श्रृजनशीलता, समयसापेक्षता, स्तरियताको आधारमा छनौछ गरिनेछ ।
७) सूचित गर्ने प्रक्रियाः छनौट भएका कलाकृतिहरु सम्बन्धित कलाकारहरुलाई ईमेल मार्फत जानकारी गराईनेछ ।
८) प्रदर्शनी मितिः “हाम्रो राम्रो उपत्यका” प्रदर्शनीको आयोजना मिति आषाद मसान्त सम्ममा नेपाल कला परिषदको भवनमा अवस्थित हाल संरचनात्मक सम्भार गरिएको बाग्मति ग्यालरीमा गरिनेछ ।
९) कलाकृति बुझाउने प्रक्रियाः छनौट भएका कलाकृतिहरु सम्बन्धित कलाकारहरुले आफैले ल्याउने तथा लाने व्यवस्था गर्नु पर्नेछ ।
१०) कलाकृति मुल्यांकन विधिः कलाकृतिका मुल्य वारे आम ग्राहकहरु सचेत भईसकेकाले कलाकारहरुले आफ्नो कलाकृतिहरुको उचित मुल्यांकन गरिदिनु हुन अनुरोध गर्दछु।
अन्तमा हाम्रो राम्रो उपत्यकालाई झल्काउने यस प्रदर्शनीमा आफ्ना उत्कृष्ट कलाकृतिहरु प्रदान गरी हाम्रो उपत्यकाको सून्दरता, सौन्दर्यता, स्वच्छता झल्काउने प्रदर्शनीमा सबै कलाकारहरुले सहभागिता गर्नु हुनेछ भन्ने पुर्ण विश्वास गरेकाछाैं ।
