Nepal Art & Culture Festival 2025 is envisioned as an annual event, growing in scale and impact each year. Join us in celebrating Nepal’s enduring spirit and help us build a sustainable future for cultural tourism.

Join us in celebrating Nepal’s timeless art, culture, cuisine & heritage!

Nepal is where the gods reside, along the Himalayas in mythology and in their myriad dynamic forms primarily in its capital Kathmandu and other cities of the valley. The country and its cultural heritage is enriched by festivals local, regional or national, celebrated joyfully throughout the diverse landscape, almost every day of the year. Indra Jatra celebrated in the valley of Kathmandu is perhaps the most spectacular and popular. Its origin goes back to 10 CE. Though widely celebrated by tens of thousands, young and old, male and female for seven days each year, to herald the end of the monsoons, there has been limited attempt to draw the attention and participation of visitors from outside the country.

‘Nepal Art and Culture Festival’, to be held annually hereafter, aims to fill that gap and place the festival and with it the cultural heritage of Nepal, in global lime light. It is heartening to find that the public and private sector institutions, and the residents of the valley, have embraced this project with open heart, joy and rare enthusiasm.

Let the festival bloom and grow to capture the imagination of people around the world.
