Nepal Art Council (NAC) is organizing a mega-exhibition on the principal theme of Deities of Nepal -II, this time with a broader range to also include temples and viharas (monasteries) of Nepal.

The objectives of this exhibition are to:
- highlight the wealth and diversity of our cultural and artistic legacy.
- present the transition of portraying our cultural heritage in current trends of greater diversity on aesthetic values or free artistic expression.
- educate and generate awareness of the diversity of our cultural and artistic heritage juxtaposing folk art, traditional, contemporary, sculptures, painting and art installations of the sacred deities, and highlight the wealth of their imagery in architectural and other expressions.
- provide an active forum for intermingling and interaction of artists from these different genres of artistic expression.
The organizing bodies will approach individual artists to meet these objectives and hereby invite all artists from Nepal to submit photographs of artworks (paintings, sculptures and installations related to the principal theme of the exhibition for the selection process.
Submission:
Each artist can submit a maximum of 4 artworks. Kindly fill the online form mentioning details (title, medium, FRAMED SIZE, date, artist price) and attach high- resolution photos (not more than 5 MB in size) of the artworks, each file named after the title of the artwork in TIFF/JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format
Deadline of submission
The submissions should reach Nepal Art Council by 20th March 2024
Selection Criteria will be based on over all concept and theme of the exhibition, balanced representation of the different genre of the arts, and space available. Final selection of the artworks will be at the discretion of a selection committee.

यस प्रदर्शनीको उद्देश्यहरूः
- हाम्रो सांस्कृतिक र कलात्मक परम्पराकाे सम्पन्नता र विविधता झल्काउनु
- हाम्रो सांस्कृतिक सम्पदालाई समसामयिक विविध कलाप्रवृतिमा वा स्वतन्त्र कलात्मक अभिव्यक्तिमा प्रस्तुत गराउनु
- हाम्रो सांस्कृतिक र कलात्मक सम्पदाको विविधता बारेमा लोककला, परम्परागतकला, समसामयिककला / समकालिनकला, मूर्तिकला, चित्रकला र प्रतिस्थापनकलाको माध्यम द्वारा कलात्मक नेपाली देवदेवता बारे आम मानिसलाई सुशिक्षित र जागरूक बनाउनु र शिक्षा र चेतनाप्रदान गर्ने
- विभिन्न विधाका कलाकारहरूलाई आपसमा भेटघाट र अन्तरक्रियाको लागि फोरम प्रदान गर्नु
यी उद्देश्यहरू पूरा गर्नका लागि व्यक्तिगत रुपमा कलाकारहरूसँग सम्पर्क गरिनेछ . नेपालका सबै कलाकारहरूलाई छनोट प्रक्रियाको लागि प्रदर्शनीको विषयवस्तुसँग सम्बन्धित कलाकृतिको (चित्रकला, मूर्तिकला र प्रतिस्थापनकला) फोटोहरू उपलब्ध गराउन हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछौं ।
सहभागिताका लागी प्रत्येक कलाकारले बढीमा ४ वटा कलाकृतिहरू बुझाउन सक्नेछन् । कृपया तल दिएकाे लिकंकाे अनलाइन फारामकमा प्रत्येक कलाकृतिको फोटो र विवरण (शीर्षक, मध्यम, फ्रेम गरिएको आकार, मिति र कलाकार मूल्य) सहितको स्पष्टसंग भरेर पठाउनु हाेला । साथै आफ्नो CV पनि पठाउनु होला । प्रत्येक फोटोको फाइल कलाकृतिको शीर्षक सहित फाेटाेहरू TIFF/ JPG /JPEG/PNG मा पठाउनुपर्ने छ र फाेटाेकाे साइज बढीमा ५ MB मात्र हुनु पर्नेछ ।
कलाकृतिको फोटो २०८० साल चैत्र ७ गते (20 March 2024) भित्र नेपाल कला परिषदमा पुग्नुपर्नेछ ।
